Chris is a filmmaker originally hailing from Holmdel, a small town in New Jersey where Bruce Springsteen wrote the 1978 classic, Darkness on the Edge of Town. He spent most of his twenties as a freelance director, cutting his teeth on sketch comedy and branded content. He spent six years as the Senior Art Director at OAKES, a motion design studio in Gowanus, before making the transition into nonfiction storytelling. He has worked on five critically-acclaimed and award-winning feature documentaries and one documentary series for HB0. 2020 will be the ten year anniversary of his moving to Brooklyn, where he currently lives with his wife, son, two cats, and dog.
