Project Details
I co-directed, along with Trey Ellis, a short film for the Equal Justice Initiative's Legacy Museum in Montgomery. The museum, which tells the history of African Americans from Slavery to Mass Incarceration, opens with our video about the horrors of the domestic slave trade, including family separation, forced migration, and the warehousing of people for sale. We shot this at the historic Sotterley Plantation in Hollywood, Maryland.
